There is a community of Black Montessori educators, families, and school leaders building something together. Membership with the BMEF puts you inside that work.
Our membership program exists because this movement needs infrastructure. It supports the BMEF's ability to show up consistently for Black Montessori communities around the world, and it connects you to the people doing that work alongside us.
All members receive the same core benefits: access to our members-only community forum, and free entry to our monthly webinar series, which qualifies for professional development credit through both Loyola and Sarasota University.
Members also receive discounts on BMEF events, including the Black Montessori Conference and our retreat, as well as on merchandise. Our job board is open to the public, but members post and apply at a reduced cost.
Membership is available at three tiers. Individual membership is designed for one person. Family membership covers two people. Institutional membership covers three, and is designed for schools and organizations looking to invest in this work collectively. Institutions will receive focused support for ensuring their environments are equitable and resilient, including exclusive access to resources and courses from Public Montessori In Action.
We also offer reduced pricing at every tier for members based in "emerging economies". The benefits are the same. We believe this community should be accessible across the diaspora, not just where resources are most concentrated.
Whatever your role is in this movement, there is a place for you here.
